Tripoli, November 21, 2023 (LANA) The deputy of the Presidential Council, "Abdullah Al-Lafi", discussed on Tuesday with the Chargé d'Affaires of the Egyptian Embassy in Libya, "Tamer Mustafa", the developments of the political scene in Libya.

During a meeting held in Tripoli, the two sides also discussed a number of regional issues, foremost of which is the Palestinian issue and the genocide against the Palestinian people amid unjustified international inaction, and ways to coordinate common positions between the two countries to strengthen the Arab and African position to stop these attacks, according to the media office of the Presidential Council.

The meeting dealt with the mechanisms of advancing the political process in Libya, to reach the holding of electoral elections with the participation of all, the success of the national reconciliation project, and the achievement of lasting stability in the country.
