NOC and the Polish Oil and Gas Company discuss lifting force majeure.

Tripoli, November 21, 2023 (Lana) The National Oil Corporation (NOC) discussed with Polish Oil and Gas Company lifting force majeure and resumption of the company’s exploration activity in Libya.

This came during the expanded meeting held between them in the presence of the Director of the Exploration Department at the NOC, Abdel Moneim Batikh, and a number of specialists and technicians in the Exploration Department, and from the Polish company, Deputy Director General of the Libya Branch, Ibrahim Al-Sharif, and through the closed circle, the General Director of the Company, Shimon Dzifakovsky, the Director of the Exploration Department, Anna Paskovic, and a number of specialists.

The meeting discussed the company's exploratory activity during 2023 and the technical work proposed for 2024 with regard to seismic surveying, exploratory drilling, and geological and geophysical studies.

During the meeting, they also discussed lifting the state of force majeure and resuming the company’s activity on the plot (113) granted to it in Libya, which is located between Ghadames and Murzuq Basin.

This meeting comes as a continuation of the annual technical meetings held between the NOC and the participating foreign companies.
