Tripoli, November 20, 2023 (LANA) - The head of the High National Elections Commission, “Imad Al-Sayeh,” met with the German ambassador to Libya, “Michel Unmacht,” to discuss the progress of the Commission’s work and the necessary preparations for holding municipal elections.

“Unmacht” said in a post on the “X” platform that the elections will enhance legitimacy and peaceful democratic deliberation, which will ultimately lead to the stability of the country and the transition to parliamentary and presidential elections.”
