Tripoli, November 20, 2023 (LANA) - Representative of the Presidential Council, Musa Al-Koni, said that elections are an irreplaceable project to ensure stability in Libya despite the challenges.
This came in his speech today, Monday, at the first conference of the Libyan Center for Studies and Policy Making, which was held under the slogan ((Libyan elections: challenges of reality and orientalism of the future)) in the presence of the President of the High Council of State, “Mohamed Takala,” his first deputy, “Masoud Abid,” and the head of the High National Elections Commission, “Imad Al-Sayeh.”, and an elite group of law, politics and economics professors in Libyan universities.
According to the official website of the Presidential Council, Al-Koni explained in his speech that the elections, that the Libyans are looking forward to, have been prolonged due to the struggle to remain in power between the political bodies. He expressed his confidence that the conference, which includes an elite group of thinkers and politicians, will produce results that contribute to paving the way for the electoral process to be held through research papers of high scientific value, according to the same source.
