Tripoli, November 20, 2023 (Lana): Detachments of the 444th Fighting Brigade of the Libyan Army targeted a vehicle, burned it, and seized six other vehicles of smuggling remnants and outlaws in the middle of the desert.
The 444 Fighting Brigade said in a statement through its communication office that the arrest and targeting of these vehicles took place after direct clashes with smuggling gangs and outlaws.
The communication office confirmed that this operation resulted in the arrest of all smugglers in those vehicles and the arrest of 120 illegal migrants with African nationalities from Sudan, Niger, Chad, Ethiopia, and Eritrea who were lost in the middle of the Libyan desert.
