Minister of Local Government discusses with the Deputy German Ambassador aspects of joint cooperation.

Tripoli, November 15, 2023 (Lana): Minister of Local Government and Head of the Government Rapid Response and Emergency Team, Badr El-Din El-Toum, met with the Acting Deputy German Ambassador, Mr. Seven Kraubse, and discussed aspects of cooperation in implementing joint projects between the two countries.

The meeting reviewed joint projects between the two countries in the area of local development, especially projects implemented by the German Agency for International Cooperation (GIZ), the strategic partner of the Ministry of Local Government in local development programs.

The meeting also discussed the most prominent challenges facing the Derna reconstruction project and ways to overcome those challenges, enhance recovery efforts, and return life to normal.

For his part, Kraubse stressed his country’s commitment to help the Government of National Unity strengthen partnership and cooperation between the two countries.
