Al-Dabaiba follows up on the implementation of roads, schools and sanitation projects

Tripoli, November 13, 2023 (LANA) - The Prime Minister of the National Government, Abdul Hamid Al-Dabaiba, on Monday, followed the progress of work on road projects implemented by the executive agencies, and sewage stations, and identified problems and difficulties according to the approved timetables.

This came during the meeting held by Al-Dabaiba with the Minister of Transportation and the directors of the Transportation Projects Implementation Agency, the Administrative Centers Development Agency, and the Housing and Utilities Projects Implementation Agency.

The meeting reviewed projects: the Third Ring Road in Tripoli, the maintenance and development of the coastal road, the Brak-Al-Shati, Marada-Al-Aqila, and Al-Aziziyah-Nalut roads, and the maintenance of the Tobruk-Amsaad, Ajdabiya-Jallo, and Ubari-Ghat roads.

The government's Our Government platform said that Al-Dabaiba directed to provide a periodic position on the progress of work on road projects being implemented, and to include any difficulties in the reports to ensure that they are addressed according to the approved timetable.

The meeting touched on projects to implement sewage stations in the municipalities of Sebha, Ajdabiya, the Kuwayfiya region and Benghazi, as they are the most affected in the field of sanitation, and stressed the necessity of adopting a national sanitation program in which all state institutions participate, and adopting designs, studies, and selecting the implementing companies according to high standards to implement maintenance and development operations.

On the other hand, Al-Dabaiba directed the necessity of starting the implementation of the 500 model schools project after completing the contractual procedures in parallel with the completion of the suspended educational projects, due to the urgent need to build schools and eliminate dilapidated schools.
