Tripoli, November 8, 2023 (LANA) - The Undersecretary of the Ministry of Interior for Public Affairs, Major General Mahmoud Saeed, and his accompanying delegation met in Brussels today, Wednesday, with the official in charge of the European Union’s Foreign Policy Department and the Union’s official responsible for policy in the Middle East and North Africa.

The Ministry of Interior reported on its Facebook page that the meeting discussed the importance of security cooperation and coordination between Libya and European Union countries, especially with regard to advanced security gates, training courses, and modern security equipment.

The Ministry indicated that the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Interior for Public Affairs, Major General Mahmoud Saeed, visited the Belgian capital, Brussels, at the head of a security delegation that included the Director of the General Administration of Security Operations, Major General Ali Al-Nuwaisri, the Director of the General Administration of Central Support, Major General Muhammad Fathallah, and the commander of the security gates.
