Tripoli, November 6, 2023 (LANA) - Prime Minister of the National Unity Government, Abdul Hamid Al-Dabaiba, confirmed today, Monday, the government’s keenness to implement the expected elections as soon as possible.
During his meeting with the head of the High Electoral Commission, Imad Al-Sayeh, Al-Dabaiba expressed the readiness of the National Unity Government to provide the required assistance in order to achieve this.
Al-Dabaiba discussed with Al-Sayeh the file of implementing the national elections, in the presence of the Minister of State for Communication and Political Affairs and the Chairman of the Ministerial Committee in charge of supporting and implementing the electoral process, Walid Al-Lafi, in accordance with our government’s platform.
According to the platform, the two parties touched on joint coordination efforts to implement the presidential and legislative elections, in accordance with fair and impartial laws.
