    Tripoli, November 02, 2023  (LANA) - The Minister of Social Affairs, “Wafaa Al-Kilani,” met today, Thursday, at the ministry’s office, with the head of the General Union of Retirees, “Khalil Al-Shaqmani.”

     Sources of the National Unity Government stated that the meeting confirmed the completion of the implementation stages of Law No. 5 of 2013 for civilian retirees and Resolution 441 for military retirees, and the completion of all legal and financial procedures to disburse the differences of 5 months in accordance with the minimum decision.

       During the meeting, the Minister also emphasized supporting all activities, forums, and the Council of Experts for Retirees at the local and international levels, as well as working with the General Union to implement all proposals that achieve social care for retirees.
