Ankara - October 31, 2023  - (LANA) - A joint discussion session was held at the Parliament headquarters in the Turkish capital, Ankara, today, Tuesday, between the President of the Supreme Council of State, Mehmet Takala, and the Speaker of the Turkish Parliament, Numan Kurtulmuş, in the presence of a number of members of the Supreme Council of State and a number of members of Turkish Parliament.

According to the Information Office of the Supreme Council of State, the two sides discussed bilateral relations between the two countries and ways to enhance them in all fields, and cooperation mechanism between the Supreme Council of State and the Turkish National Assembly, in addition to the political situation in Libya.

The attendees also discussed the situation in Gaza and ways to stop the aggression launched by the Israeli occupation forces on the Strip, and the mechanism for delivering humanitarian aid and protecting civilians, according to the source.
