Al-Kabeer opens a workshop on banking supervision.

Tripoli, October 31, 2023 (Lana): The Governor of the Central Bank of Libya, Al-Siddiq Al-Kabeer, opened the second workshop to move towards the latest banking supervision standards and requirements.
The bank stated on its Facebook page today that the session was attended by the Deputy Governor, Marai Al-Barasi, the Director of the Banking and Monetary Control Department, the heads and members of the boards of directors, and the general managers of commercial and Islamic banks. It was also attended by the directors of risk departments and the heads of the Basel instructions implementation units in the banks.
It is noteworthy that the Banking and Monetary Control Department is organizing this event throughout the current week.
