Tripoli, October 30, 2023 (LANA) - The Presidential Council - the Supreme Commander of the Libyan Army - held a security meeting on Monday morning for the Defense and Security Council, in the presence of the Minister of Defense, the Chief of the General Staff of the Libyan Army, the Head of the General Intelligence Service, and the Head of the Internal Security Service.
The media office of the Presidential Council reported that the meeting discussed the necessity of following up on the security situation in the western region in general and the city of Gharyan in particular, and emphasizing coordination mechanisms between the various security agencies to maintain the security, stability and safety of citizens.
