Al-Qubba, October 30, 2023 (LANA) - Speaker of the House of Representatives, “Aguila Saleh,” met in his office in the city of Al-Qubba, the special envoy of the French President to Libya, “Paul Soler,” along with the French ambassador to Libya, “Mustafa Maharaj,” and their accompanying delegation.

The official spokesman for the House of Representatives, Abdullah Belhaq, said that the meeting discussed a number of files, most notably the latest developments in the political situation in the country and the electoral laws issued by the House of Representatives and completed by the (6+6) Committee.

Belhaq explained that the Speaker of the House of Representatives stressed during the meeting the urgent necessity of forming a single government across Libya whose main mission is to hold elections and provide the necessary support to the High National Elections Commission to fulfill this national entitlement.
