Tripoli, October 30, 2023 (Lana) Turkish Deputy Foreign Minister, Ahmed Yildiz, confirmed the readiness of his country’s companies to participate in the reconstruction of Derna, highlighting the importance of relations with Libya.

This came during his reception by the Governor of the Central Bank of Libya, Al-Siddiq Al-Kabeer, in Tripoli yesterday, in the presence of Turkish Ambassador to Libya, Kenan Yilmaz, the Deputy Director General of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Huseyin Barbaros Dişli, the Advisor at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Alper Aktas, and the Third Secretary, Mehmet Bayatli.

According to the Facebook page of the Bank today, Al-Kabeer talked about the bank’s role in preserving the country's sustainability, activating the role of the private sector, and moving the economy, especially at this stage, which he described as important.
