Ageela discusses obstacles facing the National Council for Public Liberties and Human Rights.

Al-Qubba 30 October 2023 (Lana) Speaker of the House of Representatives (HoR), Ageela Saleh, discussed in Al-Qubba, with Vice President of the National Council for Public Liberties and Human Rights, Mohamed Al-Talebi, the obstacles facing the council at the current stage.

The meeting, which was attended by a member of the HoR, Ibrahim Al-Zagheed, and a number of members of the council, accompanied by the Director of the Greater Benghazi Administration, discussed the obstacles facing the Council’s workflow and the difficulties it faces in performing its duties.

The Director of the Greater Benghazi Administration at the Council gave a presentation on the work carried out by the administration regarding human rights work in Derna as a result of the damage to which the city and a number of areas affected by the floods were exposed, and also during the meeting, the report on Derna was delivered to Ageela.

Ageela stressed the importance of the human rights role assigned to the National Council for Public Liberties and Human Rights.
