Al-Lafi confirms that the Presidential Council looks forward to implementing its responsibility in the national reconciliation file.

Tripoli, October 29, 2023 (LANA) - Representative in the Presidential Council, Abdullah Al-Lafi, confirmed that the Council looks forward to implementing its responsibility in the national reconciliation file, and to exert its utmost efforts to make it successful and achieve its goals, with pure ownership of the Libyan people.

This came while Al-Lafi chaired, today, Sunday in Tripoli, a meeting of the Preparatory Committee for Reconciliation, in the presence of members representing various political parties, according to the Presidential Council on his Facebook page.

Al-Lafi stressed that the launch of the work of the Preparatory Committee for the Inclusive Conference for National Reconciliation is a new and important stage in the preparation for the Inclusive Conference, in which all segments of the Libyan people will participate.

During the meeting, the mechanism for organizing the committee’s work and its internal regulations were discussed to ensure everyone’s participation in the national reconciliation project, in addition to discussing some of the obstacles and obstacles that faced the committee’s work during the past period, and ways to address them and find solutions for them.
