French-Tunisian talks on developments in the political situation in Libya.

Tunis 29 October 2023 (Lana) The Tunisian Foreign Minister, Nabil Ammar, discussed with the French President’s Envoy to Libya, Paul Soler, the latest developments in the political situation in Libya.

The Tunisian Foreign Ministry quoted Ammar as stressing that the solution of Libyan crisis Libyan-Libyan and that all regional and international efforts must be directed towards finding a political settlement that protects Libya’s unity, security, and stability.

For his part, Soler commended the Tunisian role since the beginning of the crisis, expressing Paris’ aspiration for more coordination with Tunisia within the framework of a participatory approach to advance the political track in Libya.

The meeting also discussed the development of situation in Palestine, where Ammar reminded Tunisia’s position on the ongoing aggression against Gaza and the necessity of stopping it immediately.
