Tripoli, October 28, 2023 (LANA) - The Prime Minister of the National Unity Government, Abdul Hamid Dbaiba, received today, Saturday, the Special Envoy of the French President, Paul Soler, and the French Ambassador to Libya, Mustafa Maharaj.
According to the Prime Minister's Media Office, during the meeting, Dbaiba reaffirmed Libya's position rejecting what is happening in the Palestinian territories, which was clear in all international forums held to discuss the events in Gaza, praising France's position in support of the Arab resolution in the United Nations General Assembly.
During the meeting, according to the media office, the file of rebuilding Derna and the afflicted municipalities was discussed, as the French side affirmed its country’s support for the efforts of the National Unity Government in this file.
