Al-Dabaiba follows up on the implementation of basic development projects in the municipality of Zuwara

Tripoli, October 25, 2023 (LANA) - The Prime Minister of the National Unity Government, Abdul Hamid Al-Dabaiba, on Wednesday, followed up on the basic development projects in the municipality of Zuwara, the most important of which is the completion of Zuwara Hospital, which has been suspended since 2010, and the need to equip it with the necessary equipment.

This came during Al-Dabaiba’s meeting with the municipal council and the notables and elders of Zuwara, in the presence of the Minister of State for Cabinet Affairs, and the directors of agencies implementing transportation projects, implementing housing and facilities projects, and developing administrative centers.

  The Prime Minister stressed the need to provide all facilities to the Transportation Projects Implementation Agency to develop and maintain the coastal road, and to follow up on the measures taken regarding the maintenance and operation of the Zuwara desalination plant, as well as the start of work on the sewage plant, after completing the contractual procedures for the project due to its importance to the municipality of Zuwara and neighboring municipalities.

Al-Dabaiba stressed the need to follow up on projects related to the municipality, the most important of which is starting to implement 4 new schools in the municipality of Zuwara, as well as a number of important roads within the municipality.

The meeting also stressed the need to continue combating negative phenomena, the most important of which is fuel and drug smuggling, against which the government launched a campaign on the West Coast, according to the security reports contained in this regard.
