New York, October 24, 2023 (LANA) - The Arab foreign ministers present in New York held a coordination meeting before the start of the high-level Security Council session concerned with developments in the situation in the Middle East, with the participation of the person in charge of running the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, “Al-Taher Al-Baour.”

The meeting, which was attended by the Secretary-General of the League of Arab States, Aboul Gheit, focused on coordinating and unifying the Arab position within the UN Security Council session held in light of the continuing barbaric Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip, which resulted in thousands of deaths and injuries among defenseless civilians, including children, women and the elderly, and the destruction of residential buildings, vital, health and educational facilities and places of worship.
