Benghazi, October 22, 2023 (LANA) - A delegation from the House of Representatives arrived this morning in the Angolan capital, Luanda, headed by the First Deputy Speaker of the House, Fawzi Al-Nuwairi, accompanied by the member Sultana Al-Mismari, to participate in the work of the 147th General Assembly of the Inter-Parliamentary Union.
According to what was stated by the official spokesman for Parliament, Abdullah Belhaq, the work of the 147th General Assembly of the Inter-Parliamentary Union will be held from the 22nd to the 27th of this month.
It is worth noting that the Inter-Parliamentary Union is an international organization that brings together members of the parliaments of sovereign countries, and the number of its members has reached (178) countries, with its headquarters in Switzerland.
