The government appointed by the House of Representatives begins distributing the fourth batch of compensation instruments to families affected by the floods in the eastern region and registered with the inventory system.

Derna, October 22, 2023 (LANA) - The government appointed by the House of Representatives began on Saturday to deliver the fourth batch of compensation instruments to (156) families affected by torrents and floods in the eastern region and registered with the inventory system. According to a post on the government’s Facebook page, the National Theater in the city of Derna witnessed, on Saturday evening, the process of handing over the fourth batch under the supervision of the committee assigned by the government and the General Command of the Armed Forces, based on the instructions of the Chairman of the Supreme Committee for Emergency and Rapid Response.

  The number of recipients reached approximately (156) families, while the checks are continuing to be distributed to those entitled to them from Derna in batches until ensuring that all those registered in the inventory system receive their compensation, according to the circular of the government in charge of the House of Representatives.
