Derna, October 22, 2023 (LANA) - The government appointed by Parliament announced the continuation of preparations for the establishment of the international conference for the reconstruction of the city of Derna and the affected areas of Aljabal Alahkdar and the northern coast.
The government confirmed in a statement today that the Supreme Preparatory Committee for the International Conference made an inspection visit yesterday, Friday, to the city of Derna, the venue for the activities of the first day of the conference, to review the progress of work and follow up on the latest equipment and preparations.
The Supreme Committee made some observations in particular, and stressed the necessity of providing some important logistical matters, according to what the government appointed by the House of Representatives published on its official Facebook page.
It is noteworthy that the conference will be held on the first and second of November of this year in the cities of Derna and Benghazi.
