Al-Dabaiba discusses with the German ambassador to Libya the political situation and the return of German companies.
Pulbished on:Tripoli, October 18, 2023 (LANA) - Prime Minister of the National Unity Government, Abdul Hamid Dabaiba, met today, Monday, with the German Ambassador to Libya, Michael Unmacht.
According to the media office of the Prime Minister, during the meeting the Libyan political situation was discussed, and support was emphasized for the efforts of the UN envoy to Libya, Abdullah Batili, in order to reach fair and just elections.
During the meeting, the two sides stressed the need to unify national and international efforts to reconstruct Derna and the affected municipalities.
The German ambassador presented a report on the return of German companies and the resumption of their various activities in Libya, according to the Prime Minister’s Media Office.
At the conclusion of the meeting, Al-Dabaiba stressed the rejection of the Libyan people and government of what is happening in Palestine due to the aggression of the Israeli occupation.
