The Libyan Foreign Ministry praises Algeria's support for the political path led by the United Nations to resolve the crisis in Libya.

Tripoli, October 17, 2023 (LANA) - The meeting of the Algerian Minister of Foreign Affairs, “Ahmed Attaf,” with the person in charge of managing the work of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation in the National Unity Government, “Taher Al-Baour,” focused on discussing the fraternal relations and cooperation that bind the two countries and the two brotherly peoples, in addition to the latest developments in the situation, of the Libyan scene.

During the meeting - which was held yesterday, Monday, on the sidelines of the ministerial meeting of African and Northern European countries hosted by Algeria - Al-Baour renewed his expression of appreciation and appreciation for the Government of National Unity for the fraternal solidarity it received from Algeria during the floods that recently affected the regions of eastern Libya, praising Algeria’s stand, always standing by the Libyan people and supporting the political path led by the United Nations to resolve the crisis in Libya.
