The Minister of Justice discusses with her Moroccan counterpart enhancing aspects of joint cooperation.

Baghdad, October 15, 2023 (LANA) - The Minister of Justice of the National Unity Government discussed with her Moroccan counterpart ways to enhance cooperation and exchange experiences between the two countries.

This came during a meeting held today, Sunday, on the sidelines of the meetings of the Executive Office of the Council of Arab Ministers of Justice, which was held in the Iraqi capital, Baghdad.

The two sides also discussed judicial education and training programs, exchange of experiences in this field, capacity building for employees of the Center for Judicial Expertise and Research, and the possibility of educational technical support for advanced academic degrees in some specializations of interest to the Ministry of Justice and its affiliated bodies.

The meeting touched on the role of the judiciary in supervising elections and electoral appeals and benefiting from the experience possessed by the Moroccan side in this field.
