An Omani economic team seeks to invest in Al-Jufra dates.

Al-Jufra 15 October 2023 (Lana) an economic technical team consisting of a director of a company in the Sultanate of Oman and representatives from company of Al-Jaied for Food Industries reviewed the display of various types of dates during a visit to Sukna Dates Market and a number of farms in Sukna region.

The team members expressed their admiration for Al-Jufra dates, especially the Deglet Nour and Al-Aleeq varieties, and their high competitiveness, which enables them to enter the Arab and international market.

It’s noteworthy that the Oman Palm Development Company was established in partnership between the Oman Food Investment Holding Company and the Oman National Investment Development Company, which seeks to become the leading Omani company in the production of dates and palm by-products and one of the largest suppliers of these products in the world, and it also aims to invest in palm trees, healthy food and sustainable agriculture.
