The Japanese Ambassador to Libya confirms the imminent resumption of work of his country's embassy in Tripoli.

Tripoli, October 11, 2023 (LANA) - The Japanese Ambassador to Libya, Masaaki Amadera, presented his country’s contribution to the reconstruction of the city of Derna, stressing the imminent resumption of the embassy’s work in Tripoli.
This came during a reception by the representative of the Presidential Council, Musa Al-Koni, on Wednesday in the capital, Tripoli, where he offered his condolences to the victims of the floods that recently swept several areas in the eastern region.
According to a post by the Presidential Council on its Facebook page, the meeting discussed the latest developments in the situation in the country, bilateral relations between the two countries, and ways to develop them in many fields.
For his part, Al-Koni stressed the importance of strengthening relations and cooperation between Libya and Japan, and the announcement of the imminent resumption of the embassy’s work in Tripoli confirms the extent of safety that the capital is experiencing, explaining that cooperation with Japan will contribute to the advancement of the country in all fields, especially economics, technology, and education, in addition to the reconstruction of Derna and Murzuq, according to the same source.
