Orlando confirms to Al-Dabaiba the EU’s support for the stability of Libya.

Tripoli, 11 October 2023 (Lana) The Head of the Government of National Unity, Abdul-Hamid Al-Dabaiba, received yesterday the new European Union (EU) Ambassador to Libya, Nicola Orlando.
According to the communication office of the government, the two sides discussed coordination of efforts, providing technical support in the illegal migration file, and cooperation in the areas of renewable energies, in accordance with what was previously agreed upon between Al-Dabaiba and the Representative of the EU for Foreign Affairs, Josep Borrell.
Orlando stressed the EU’s support for the stability of Libya, moving towards elections, and enhancing economic and security cooperation between Libya and the EU.
