In turn, the Swiss ambassador affirmed his country's support for the efforts of the Presidential Council to achieve peace with the success of the national reconciliation project, which paves the way for holding elections whose results are agreed upon by all parties.

The Swiss ambassador expressed his country's desire to help Libya during this stage by supporting UN envoy Abdullah Batili, considering Switzerland a member of the Security Council this year, which will work to stabilize Libya through the international working group.

The meeting also discussed the latest developments in the situation in neighboring countries, and the repercussions of the outbreak of wars in the region, according to the Presidential Council.

Al-Koni referred to his meetings with the presidents and leaders of neighboring countries, especially Niger, and working to prevent it from being drawn into an armed conflict, which would have repercussions on Libya, which suffers from divisions, which made its borders violated by criminal gangs involved in smuggling and human trafficking.
