Ports and Maritime Transport Authority issues a statement on the status of the Derna Sea Port.

Tripoli, September 14, 2023 (LANA) - The Ports and Maritime Transport Authority of the Ministry of Transportation announced that after conducting a survey of the navigational corridor of the Derna seaport, it was found that the port is ready to receive ships.
The Authority confirmed in a statement issued and published on its Facebook page today, Thursday, that for any ship to enter the port of Derna, it must have a draft of seven and a half metres.
She explained that a crisis committee was formed and is currently present in the port to carry out tasks and specializations, which would facilitate and organize the entry of relief ships and deliver aid as quickly as possible to the affected people, residents of Derna, and neighboring cities, and recover the bodies of the deceased.
