Abu Dhabi, September 12, 2023 (Lana): The UAE announced the sending of urgent relief aid and search and rescue teams to Libya to help confront the effects of torrents and floods that struck eastern Libya.
The Emirates News Agency reported that UAE President Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan directed sending urgent relief aid and rescue teams to Libya to stand by its people in confronting the effects of floods resulting from the heavy rains that the country witnessed during the past few days.
The President of the UAE expressed his sincere condolences to the leadership, government, and people of Libya for the victims of the floods.
