Tripoli, September 9, 2023 (Lana): The Minister of Social Affairs, Wafaa Al-Kelani, discussed with representatives of UNICEF Libya training and technical support programs for the ministry and opening new prospects for cooperation between the two sides to serve children in Libya.

This came during her meeting on Wednesday with the representative of UNICEF Libya, Michaeli Serfadi, and his accompanying delegation, in the presence of the social expert in the ministry, Ali Faraj, the director of the Family and Women Department, Wijdan Ashtewi, and the technical cooperation office at the ministry, Marwa Mila.

The meeting discussed the terms of a memorandum of understanding signed between the sides and joint programs implemented by UNICEF in Libya, such as the Bayti centers for children to be opened soon, which UNICEF established under the supervision of the Ministry of Social Affairs.
