This came during his meeting on the sidelines of the (BRICS) summit with the deputy of the Presidential Council, Musa al-Koni, in which he expressed Tehran's interest in Libya's success in overcoming its crisis and restoring its role in the Arab and international arena.
According to the presidential media office, President Ibrahim Raisi suggested to Al-Koni that bilateral cooperation be strengthened in the health field in accordance with Iran's development of mechanisms and methods to treat diseases known to the region.
The Iranian president stressed his country's support for the efforts of BRICS and African countries to create a strong and independent economic climate, and that prospects for joint cooperation between Libya and Iran would enhance this choice.
The office indicated that the Iranian president invited Al-Koni to visit Tehran at the earliest opportunity to discuss aspects and mechanisms of drawing up a road map to enhance joint cooperation. .
