Al-Lafi and Takala discuss ways to advance the political process.

Tripoli, August 27 (Lana): Member of the Presidential Council, Abdullah Al-Lafi, congratulated the Head of the High Council of State (HCS), Mohamed Takala, on his election as president of the council, wishing him success in his new mission.

During the meeting held yesterday, the two sides discussed ways to advance the political process and coordinate efforts between the Presidential Council and the HCS to achieve consensus between all parties to the political process to hold the electoral entitlements that all Libyans aspire to, in addition to reviewing the recent security events that Tripoli had witnessed.

The meeting also discussed enhancing the steps taken by the Presidential Council in the national reconciliation file, especially related to preparing for the inclusive reconciliation conference that would achieve lasting stability and peace in the country.
