Tripoli, August 23, 2023 (LANA) - The head of the Airports Authority, "Muhammad Bait Al-Mal," discussed with the Deputy Ambassador of the United Kingdom to Libya, "Catherine Wild," ways of cooperation between the two countries in the field of aviation.
The meeting, which was held at the Authority's headquarters in Tripoli, discussed the possibility of British companies participating in the implementation of projects that are put forward by the Authority, especially the projects of establishing and equipping airports and infrastructure.
The aspects of support that the British Embassy can provide to the Airports Authority in the technical fields, training and development of human cadres, and the role that the Embassy can play in the participation of official delegations from the Authority in conferences, exhibitions and forums that are held in the United Kingdom from time to time related to the airport industry, were also discussed.
"Catherine Wild" expressed her full readiness to help and support the Airports Authority and coordinate with a number of leading companies and British manufacturers to visit Libya during the coming period to meet with the Authority to introduce their activities and products.
