Tripoli, August 23, 2023 (Lana) The Head of the Government of National Unity, Abdul-Hamid Al-Dabaiba, welcomed the briefing of the UN Envoy, Abdoulaye Bathily, yesterday, who stressed the importance of maintaining stability to reach the elections and his reference to the negative impact of the division's attempts to move towards that goal.

Al-Dabaiba expressed on his Facebook page his support for the unification efforts that Bathily talked about in all security, military, economic, and social institutions, in parallel with the trend towards achieving the people’s desire to renew the legitimacy of all bodies through elections.

"Let us all move towards fulfilling the will of the Libyans to end the transitional stages and restore trust to the people through achieving the electoral entitlement," Al-Dabaiba said.
