The Presidential Council welcomes the unification of the Central Bank of Libya.

Tripoli, August 20, 2023 (LANA) - The Presidential Council welcomed the efforts made to unify the Central Bank of Libya, end the state of division that lasted for years, and return it as a unified sovereign institution during the meeting held today, by the Governor of the Central Libya, "Al-Siddiq Al-Kabeer" and his deputy, "Marai Rahil", Sunday with the directors of departments and consultants at the bank in Tripoli and Benghazi.
In a statement, the Presidential Council urged the bank's management to work at the same pace to address the effects that resulted from the state of division, and to take it as an example to be guided by to unify the rest of the state's institutions.
