Benghazi, August 20, 2023 (Lana) The Speaker of the House of Representatives, Ageela Saleh, stressed the need for the Libyan News Agency (LANA) to play its role in improving the mental image of Libya in a way that strengthens stability and rapprochement, leading to the elections.

This came during his reception yesterday, at his residence in Benghazi with the Director General of LANA, Ibrahim Al-Majbri, who briefed him on the workflow of the agency and its affiliated platforms and its role in marketing the official news through international news agencies with which it has bilateral agreements.

The official spokesman for the House of Representatives, Abdullah Blehaq, said in a press statement after the interview that Ageela discussed with Al-Majbri the most important problems and obstacles facing the work of the agency as one of the bodies affiliated with the House of Representatives, directing the Libyan government to overcome all the difficulties facing the work of the agency.

Al-Majbri commended the support of Ageela for the agency, stressing that the important remarks he made in presenting real media are a work center for LANA.
