Trabelsi forms a security room to resolve the clashes and deploy security elements from the police force to establish security inside Tripoli.

Tripoli, August 16, 2023 (LANA) - The Minister of Interior in charge of the Government of National Unity, Imad Trabelsi, decided to form a security room to resolve the clashes and deploy security elements from the police force to establish security inside Tripoli.

And the first article of the decision issued by “Trabelsi” under 1288 of 2023 stated that the room would be formed under the chairmanship of the Director of Tripoli Security, Major General “Khalil Mustafa”, and its headquarters would be the Capital Security Directorate.

  According to the second article of the decision, the room undertakes work to resolve the clashes and deploy security elements from the police authority to establish security and develop plans to ensure insurance and protection and sow reassurance in the hearts of people within the scope of the city of Tripoli, in coordination with the Emergency Medicine and Support Center and the relevant authorities.

  The decision also instructed the Chamber to find the means to be followed to deal with the current events, and work to provide mechanisms and methods that help to confront them and coordinate in matters related to security affairs with the competent authorities.

   And the fifth article of the decision stressed that it should be implemented from the date of its issuance, and the competent authorities were obliged to implement it.
