Tripoli, August 13, 2023 (LANA) - Today, Sunday, the President of the High Council of the State, "Mohammed Takala," received the Turkish ambassador to Libya, "Kanaan Yilmaz," at the council's headquarters in the capital, Tripoli.
The media office of the Council stated that the meeting dealt with discussing the joint relations between the two countries in a way that serves the interests of the two friendly peoples, the developments of the political process in Libya and the results of the work of the Joint Committee for the Preparation of Electoral Laws 6 + 6.
The meeting also discussed ways to find solutions that achieve stability in Libya and the national reconciliation project to get out of the crisis and achieve social justice, expressing his hope for cooperation to move forward in the country and bring it to peace and stability.
During the meeting, the Turkish ambassador congratulated "Takala" on his assumption of the presidency of the Council, wishing him success in his duties, and his aspiration to strengthen bilateral relations.
