Libya's permanent representative to the Arab League discusses with the Secretary General of the CAEU the obstacles facing the Council.

Tripoli, August 13, 2023 (Lana) Libya’s Permanent Representative to the League of Arab States, Abdul-Motalib Thabet, discussed with the Secretary General of the Council of Arab Economic Unity (CAEU), Mohammadi Al-Ni, the obstacles facing the council and possible solutions to raise the level of its performance.
During the meeting, which was held at the headquarters of the Libyan delegation in Cairo, Al-Ni expressed his hope that Libya would play an effective role in the council’s work so that Libya’s Permanent Representative could head the General Secretariat in the next session.
Thabet commended the role of the CAEU, pledging to provide the necessary support that enables it to perform its work in the required manner.
