Shahat 12 August 2023 (Lana) Shahat Police Station arrested yesterday 39 people of different nationalities who entered the country illegally.
Shahat Security Directorate said in a statement on its Facebook page that it had received information about people of different nationalities in a rest house on the outskirts of the city of Shehat, owned by a foreigner.
It added that the security services moved to the site, where it was found that there were 39 people who were taken to the police station for interrogation and verification of passports and residency.
In its statement, the Directorate indicated that the arrested confessed that they entered the country through the airport and had an unclear entry stamp, which indicates that their entry was illegal and that they falsified the stamps.
