Tunisia, August 10 (LANA) - Libya and Tunisia agreed yesterday, Wednesday, on a consensual solution to end the problem of the presence of illegal immigrants in the border area between the two countries.
This came during the meeting of the Minister of Interior, Major General Imad Mustafa Trabelsi, with the Tunisian Minister of Interior, "Kamal al-Fiqi" in the Tunisian capital.
The Ministry of the Interior of the Government of National Unity said that "Trabelsi" and "Al-Fiqi" also agreed during the meeting to speed up work at the joint border crossing (Ras Jedir) and facilitate entry procedures for citizens, and the possibility of resolving the problem of the similarity of the names of Libyan citizens with the Tunisian authorities.
The meeting also dealt with the file of joint security cooperation between the two countries.
