The committee formed to assess the situation across the border between Libya and Tunisia holds its second meeting.

Tripoli, August 8, 2023 (Lana) The committee formed by the decision of the Prime Minister of the Government of National Unity discussed on its second meeting yesterday the required needs of the concerned agencies to carry out their tasks by forming a joint security room from the sectors of the state concerned with securing borders and combating illegal migration to limit the flow of migrants to Libyan lands.
The situation across the border between Libya and Tunisia was assessed, as were the measures taken to secure the border.
The committee also discussed ways to deal with migrants and provide humanitarian support to migrant families through the Libyan Red Crescent.
