Tripoli, August 3, 2023 (LANA) - The committee assigned by the Minister of Interior regarding addressing bottlenecks and difficulties in the movement of travelers through the Ras Ajdir port, today, Thursday, held a meeting with the Tunisian side, which included the police chief of the Ras Ajdir governorate, and the head of the Tunisian customs inspection office.
And government sources stated that the meeting discussed the appropriate work mechanisms to deal with bottlenecks at the port, in a way that ensures the smooth flow of movement of passengers and goods.
The committee in charge included the head of the Criminal Investigation Service, the director of Tripoli security, the director of security at the Ras Ajdir port, the head of the internal security oversight office at the port, and a representative from the office of the Minister of Interior.
