Tripoli, July 31, 2023 (Lana) Security patrols of the border security sector found yesterday six unidentified bodies belonging to illegal migrants of African nationalities.

The Ministry of Interior said in a statement through its communication office that the bodies were found during the security patrols of the border security sector, Al-Assa, combing the area extending from Dhahrat Al-Khas point to Tawil Taher point to prevent the flow and entry of migrants who are expelled by the Tunisian authorities and forced to enter Libyan territory.

The Ministry confirmed that the bodies were recovered and legal measures were taken in the presence of members of the Public Prosecution and accompanied by the ambulance, emergency, and support team of the Ministry of Health.
