Dabaiba renews his refusal to settle illegal immigrants in Libya.

Tripoli, July 24, 2023 (LANA) - The head of the government of national unity, Abdul Hamid Al-Dabaiba, renewed his refusal to settle illegal immigrants in Libya.
Dabaiba said in a press statement in Rome on the sidelines of the International Conference on Migration and Development that one of the most important items of our attendance at the conference is to confirm that Libya is a transit country that temporarily hosts migrants and that the final destination for these migrants is Europe.
Al-Dabaiba stressed that this opinion should not be accepted in any way, or discussed, noting that Libya treats immigrants well and hopes for their safe return to their homelands.
The prime minister stressed that the problem of migration is an international problem, not only Libyan, calling on European countries and the world to support the countries of origin and give rights to the countries of these migrants.
