Security stations are near the border with Tunisia to prevent illegal immigrants from entering Libya.

Tripoli, July 18, 2023 (Lana): The Ministry of Interior said in a statement that Al-Assa border security sector of the Border Guard Service has conducted desert security patrols to prevent illegal immigrants coming from Tunisia from entering Libyan territory.
The ministry confirmed that sudden security stations were established near the border points along the border strip from Ras Ajdir to Wazen and that all measures were taken to prevent any security breaches.
According to the ministry, the conduct of the desert patrols comes as an implementation of its plan to secure and protect the Libyan-Tunisian border and as an implementation of the instructions of the head of the border guards.
